My story

đŸŸ Looking for a bestie? A cute companion? A love bug? Look no further, you’ve come to the right spot! đŸŸ Hi there! I’m Ciara, an adorable female Cattle dog/Shepherd mix, around 3 yrs old and weighing about 60 lbs. I have an extra soft and floofy black and brindle coat — you won’t be able to resist giving me scratches (I triple dog dare you to try!) and I’ll make it easy for you by flopping over for some belly rubs. I’m a shelter volunteer fave and you’ll quickly see why! đŸ¶ Once you meet me, you’ll notice my sparkling golden eyes, contagious megawatt smile, & happy go lucky demeanor. 😁 Truth be told I wasn’t always a confident gal. When I first came to the shelter, I was actually very shy but day by day (with the help of my volunteer pals), I have become braver. It’s best I go to a home without small children, so I can continue to thrive in my new environment. 💒 🌞 A pawfect way to start my day is with a sunshine-filled walk (I am great on leash), followed by some yard time to get my zoomies out. I know this puts a smile on my volunteer buddy’s face. 😂 “Look at this cutie go!!” is what I often hear them saying! I also enjoy playing with my toys (with a volunteer pal or independently) in between sniffaris. My most favorite thing in the world has to be belly rubs! I love relaxing next to a volunteer pal, the smell of fresh grass, and enjoying the cuddles. I know my volunteer pals find it relaxing too — there isn’t anything a good belly rub can’t cure! In between belly rubs I enjoy running the fence line with other shelter doggos! I think I’d make a pawsome sister and if you already have a dog, my staff friends will properly introduce us to see if we are comfortable with one another. If you’re still reading this, then we both know what that means! Your search for a sweet sidekick who has endless love to give is officially over! You’ve found me and I can’t wait to meet you! Come on in for a visit so we can see how pawsome we could be together. 💖 ** Ciara would do best in a home without small children ** # See video of Ciara at the end of the photo gallery! ## TVAR.org/find-your-pet-adopt/dogs-puppies/ Ciara’s Shelter ID# is 85341. She's an approximately 3-year-old, black and brindle, Cattle dog/Shepherd mix. She currently weighs 60 lbs. She is already vaccinated and will be microchipped and spayed before going to her new home. Ciara is located in kennel E-2. Her adoption fee is $35, plus licensing (if applicable). The cost of her spay surgery will be sponsored! ** Age shown is an estimate only ** THIS IS A COURTESY POSTING If you are interested, please call the East County Animal Shelter at 925-803-7040 to see if this dog is still available.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Ciara - ECAS, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
