My story

Saying Dex is a lover boy is an understatement His foster mom said whoever adopts him could not be asking for a better dog! Cuddles and kisses are what he is about. Hes good with other dogs, male and female, young or old. Dexter is also good with confident, dog-savvy cats. We believe wed do best in a home with at least one canine companion and a fenced-in yard to run and burn energy. Dexter would also enjoy tagging along with a human whos a jogger or runner. Evenings spent on the couch snoozing in your lap would suit him perfectly! Dexter is estimated to be about 4 years old. In foster care, hes working on his leash training and basic obedience. When his nose hits the ground, he tends to get stubborn! He knows sit very well and is learning to wait at an open door to not bolt out. Dexter is quiet and hardly barks! The only time he barks is when you come home and he is ready to get out of his crate. Dexter could potentially live in an apartment under the right circumstances. Homes with a 6 ft fence are preferred as hes a fence hopper, but all applications will be considered. Dex has completed his vet care and his adoption fee is $250.
