My story

Ready for her flight to Toronto upon adoption. Background: Jianne was rescued from a city pound in Milyang, Korea earlier this year. Since then, she’s been living in our boarding home, sharing her days with other rescue dogs. Personality and Socialization: Jianne is a gentle soul with a sweet, calm, and affectionate nature. She has a medium energy level—playful when it’s time to play, but also loves quiet cuddles and naps. She’s very social and gets along with everyone, including men and new strangers. She’s a natural snuggler who loves being close to people. With dogs, she’s especially friendly and easygoing. She enjoys playing with other social, playful pups—especially younger dogs who match her energy. Jianne’s submissive and gentle nature makes her popular among the other dogs; everyone seems to love her and wants to hang out with her. While she hasn’t been around young children or cats, her soft temperament suggests she could adapt with the right introductions. Behavior and Training: For a young dog, Jianne is calm and well-mannered. She’s quiet indoors, and hasn’t shown separation anxiety. When left alone in her kennel, she entertains herself with toys and rests peacefully. She prefers to potty outside but is also pee-pad trained. She’s good in the car, handles vet visits and baths well. While she’s still learning the ropes of leash walking, she follows her humans well and shows great potential as a walking companion. Health and Diet: Jianne is spayed, fully vaccinated, and on monthly parasite prevention. She eats dry kibble twice a day and has no known allergies. She is healthy, happy, and ready for her forever home. Ideal Home: Jianne would thrive in a loving home where someone is around most of the time—perhaps someone retired or working from home. She’d also be a wonderful second dog, especially in a home with another friendly pup who enjoys playing. Above all, Jianne is a sweet, affectionate girl who just wants to be loved and included. Whoever brings Jianne home will be incredibly lucky—she’s a gentle, loving companion with so much heart to give.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Jianne, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
