My story

Meet ARTEMIS, a short-haired gray male who is wise beyond his years.  He is a true gentleman.  He is loving but also shy.  He will run up to receive love and to get pets, but isn’t pushy about it.  He will let his siblings overrun him and back off from the bolder personalities, putting himself at the bottom of the stack, so to speak.  He likes to play with wand toys but is mostly interested in being with someone and keeping them company.  He takes about a week or so to warm up, but once comfortable, he is very rewarding to love on.  He has soulful, deep eyes that speak to you – he conveys gratitude and contentment very strongly when he looks at you.  Artemis came to our rescue after his owner passed away, and is looking for a home where he can quietly devote himself to you as your faithful companion. Artemis has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, is negative for FeLV and FIV, and includes a free wellness visit with our vet partners.  To meet Artemis in foster care, submit an adoption application for consideration at CatRescues.org/Adopt or a paper copy available at PetSmart. A volunteer will contact you within 3-5 business days for a possible meet and greet. The $100 adoption fee allows us to continue to provide care and find loving homes for abandoned and neglected cats in our Eugene/Springfield community. For more information, send an email to AdoptInfo@CatRescues.org or call 541-225-4955 option 1.  ID  2501-C0009 ARTEMIS DOB  3/1/21 (est) GOOD WITH OTHER CATS, BUT WOULD BE FINE AS AN ONLY CAT CAN ACCLIMATE TO A FRIENDLY DOG GOOD WITH GENTLE, CAT-SAAVY KIDSMay 8, 2025, 10:31 pm

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Artemis, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
