My story

My name is Tiberius but my foster mom calls me… Tibee! No puppy shenanigans for me. At 7 years old, I'm a grown-up. Crate-trained and 100% housebroken, I sleep all night long, don't chew anything I shouldn't and am polite when my mom is standing around chatting instead of walking me. - I might be a Sheepadoodle or Aussiedoodle — the mystery is part of my charm - I love food, snacks, and all things edible but don't beg or counter surf (I'm very good at keeping the kitchen floor clean). - Full of playful energy when it’s the right time - I'm working on learning to walk nicely on leash & take treats gently (I’m trying hard since I really like going on walks and treats). - Sweet? Definitely. Affectionate? Absolutely. - Thunder, fireworks, weird loud things (such as an air compressor firing up) or sudden motions don't phase me in the least I have some herding behaviors which means no kids under 12 in the household. Cats aren't a good idea either. A fenced back yard would be nice since I like to chase tennis balls. I’m a good boy with a big heart who just needs someone to help me polish my manners and soak up all the love I have to give. Thank you for your interest in one of our Hero Babies! Before inquiring, we thought it was important to share a few of our policies. Your Current Pets - We do require that your current dogs and cats are current on vaccines and spayed/neutered. Adoptions - We do not have a shelter and are a foster-home based organization. We do require that you have an approved adoption application to schedule a meet and greet. You can fill out an adoption application on our website, www.herorescue.org/adopt. Once your application is approved it will be sent to the foster family that is currently caring for the dog. They will be able to provide information on likes, dislikes, personality, etc. They will also schedule a time for you to meet the dog. We do require a home visit prior to adoption.
