My story

Aubergine’s journey has been one of resilience and hope. Rescued from a challenging hoarding situation with over 100 other cats, she’s learning what it means to be loved and cherished. At around 5 years old, Aubergine has a gentle spirit and a heart full of affection just waiting to blossom. Though she can be a little shy at first, with patience and kindness, her true personality shines. She absolutely adores pets, brushing sessions, and — her favorite — forehead kisses! In fact, she’ll eagerly bump her head into you, politely requesting a little kiss or two. While she tolerates being held for a short time, she’s happiest lounging nearby, quietly enjoying your company. Aubergine loves gazing out the window, watching the birds flutter by. She also finds comfort in the presence of other cats and will need a feline friend in her new home — one who will treat her kindly and show her the companionship she’s used to. She’s not one to lead the pack, but she’s perfectly content letting her kitty companions take the spotlight. With a little patience and a lot of love, Aubergine will reward you with her unwavering trust and affection.
