What my friends at OHS say about me:I have been working with the Behavior team at OHS and I'm looking for a special home. It will take time and patience to get to know me. You can use my favorite toys or treats as positive reinforcement and to teach me new things.I am deaf which just means I'll need a little extra patience and care when we're learning new things together and while getting settled into my new home and family. I love a good snack, can you blame me?! Snacks are a great way to make friends with me and teach me fun tricks.Resource Guarding: I have a history of guarding my people, food, toys and/or bedding from other animals.High Energy: I can become easily frustrated if my energy and exercise needs are not met. I will need positive outlets and a calm environment to help me flourish.I am silly, young boy full of personality - sweet, goofy, and oh-so-ready to be your best buddy. Whether it's snuggling up for a cozy cuddle or bouncing around with my favorite toys, I've got tons of love to give.The type of home I'm looking for:I need a home without cats or other small animals. I need to go to a home without small children. I may accidently knock them over in my excitement or try to steal their toys to play with. I would prefer to be the only dog in the home.
