This beautiful boy is around 15 months old and is a Doodle mix who finds himself in need of a new home (through no fault of his own). His foster has gotten him bathed and groomed so he is ready to start finding his forever family. Teddy is still learning some manners with jumping up in excitement, but he's putting in the work to get better at that! Teddy is also still working a bit on potty training, so patience and training will be important. When Teddy came to our rescue his fur was quite matted and had an ear infection, so he is a little sensitive if he thinks you're going to look in his ears. He will need to have a family committed to getting him groomed regularly so he can look and feel his absolute best. Teddy is incredibly sweet and loves people of all ages and other dogs! He's never met a cat that we're aware of, so we can't answer how he will be with them (but indications are that he loves everyone and everything). Teddy loves to be cuddled, give kisses, and adores belly rubs. He loves to play with bones and fetch. He really loves to run- it helps him get out that puppy doodle energy! He is treat motivated (who isn't!) so he is learning commands like sit, and is very good at listening when told "no". Teddy is crate trained, but he really loves to sleep with his pack. He is ready for his next adventure of finding his forever family who will love and adore him to the ends of the earth. We do not ship our dogs and require home visits. Must live in area to adopt, will not respond to out of area/country requests. Additionally we require physically fenced yard for dog/pup to play in safely. Exceptions are sometimes made to this requirement but is up to the foster and more often done for the small breed dogs. All our dogs have been treated with de-wormer; heartworm tested (if age appropriate -7 months or older); treated for fleas/ticks; microchipped; and examined by veterinarian plus given age appropriate vaccinations. We take every effort to ensure the health of the animal and you will receive a copy of all vet work performed at time of adoption. Dogs will be spayed/neutered thru us prior to finalizing any adoption. We provide information on dogs age and breed based on what we are told by person surrendering dog or vet's best guess. While we try our best we cannot guarantee that this information is 100% accurate and can often be best guess in case of our lovable mutts.
