My story

Skeeter is an 8-year-old Chihuahua mix with a loyal heart and a big personality in a small package. While he may take a little time to warm up, once he trusts you, he`s a devoted and affectionate companion who loves being close to his people. Skeeter thrives in a calm, predictable environment and is looking for a home without children where he can feel safe and secure. He’s friendly and loving with his family, enjoying quiet moments, cozy laps, and a peaceful routine. THERE ARE TWO WAYS TO ADOPT FROM WRIGHT-WAY RESCUE:OPTION ONE: RESERVE A PET IN ADVANCE by filling out an online application at https://wright-wayrescue.org/adoption-application-page- Our typical turnaround time for applications is within 48 hours.- An email will be sent to you once your application is approved. This email will include instructions on how to proceed with our reservation process. - Please note: The location listed in an animal`s profile does not indicate where the animal is available for adoption. Almost all of our adoptions are carried out at our Morton Grove facility.OPTION TWO: COME INTO THE ADOPTION CENTER AND MEET THEM ALL! The adoption center is located at 5915 W Lincoln Ave in Morton Grove, IL 60053. It is open Thursday & Friday, 4 pm-8 pm and Saturday & Sunday, 11 am-5 pm.
