Oreo

My story

We received two surrenders, Oreo, a DSH spayed female, age 3 1/2, and Cookies & Cream, a Ragdoll/Siamese NM, also age 3 1/2.  Their elderly owner developed memory problems and had to go into an assisted living situation in another state.  Both cats are very shy and are not thriving in the noisy, stressful shelter environment; so EAPL has them currently in a foster home in Evergreen.  Cookies & Cream is especially gorgeous and a little more outgoing than Oreo.  Cookies & Cream is settling in well, but Oreo is still a bit combative.  Both did great in their previous home.  We feel with some time in a new home, versus a boarding situation, where they can have space and some consistency, they would settle in fine.  Just need some patience since they have had a tumultuous situation since being relinquished.  Complete a cat application at www.eapl.com - once approved, you are welcome to take either or both of them home.  While not completely bonded, they were excellent housemates.  Oreo will take a bit more time.May 7, 2025, 1:55 pm
