My story

Hi there, I’m Kari. I’m 8 years old, and I never thought I’d be spending my golden years in a shelter. My owners got sick and couldn’t care for me anymore, and that's how I found my way here. I’m a sweet, gentle senior who has always been a good girl. I’m housebroken, easygoing, and I adore other dogs. I’ve lived with both big and small pups and got along great with all of them. I’ve been around kids too - just remind them I’m a bigger girl! I haven’t met cats here, but with a proper introduction, I might do just fine. The shelter is a hard place for me. I don’t understand why I’m here, and it’s been tough. What I really need is someone to see past the gray on my muzzle and into my heart. I’m ready for love, comfort, and happiness again. Please help me turn the page to a brighter chapter. I still have so much love left to give!
