My story

Meet Khang Conquer, a handsome boy who lets his goofy side come out once he gets comfortable! Khang was found as a stray in Philly and said to be friendly by his finder. Since getting to the shelter he has enjoyed playing with toys and taking treats, and has been easy to handle though a little shy at times. Khang is now available for adoption at ACCT Philly and looking to conquer your heart! Meet him any day from 10am-6pm. Video: Khang knows sit and paw: https://youtu.be/qX3lOyrVM0c Behavior: Per Volunteer 5/13/25: He was sitting at the front of his kennel watching a staff member mop when I approached. He was shaking slightly when I opened the kennel door but very easily allowed me to leash and popped right out of the kennel. He walks well past other dogs without paying them too much attention. He pulls slightly on leash, but is in touch with his handler and allowed me to guide him. Once we got to the play yard he had very loose body language and came right to me. He jumped up on me playfully. He’s a very goofy boy!! Loves interacting and he does little play bows with you. He seems to be treat motivated and knows commands like sit and paw. Takes treats incredibly gently took pets from me, but wasn’t overly seeking them out. Very easy to put back in kennel no issues overall. Per Volunteer 5/12/25: Easy in/out of kennel. Good on leash, definitely very housetrained. Aloof, but not unpleasant. Just wanted to smell, walk, and do his own thing. Bit nervous: finicking, wandering while on leash, appeared to be good on leash but may not have been walked regularly. Play group 5/8/25: Semi-steer, avoidant, pushy, playful ACCT Philly is located at 111 West Hunting Park Ave in. We are open for adoptions 7 days a week. Please visit www.acctphilly.org/adopt for details. If you are a rescue interested in pulling this animal, please email our lifesaving team, or visit here if you are not currently a rescue partner: https://acctphilly.org/acct-philly-love-local-partnership-program/ Confirmed placement is considered a confirmation of an actual rescue pull. Possible placement, interested parties, and other "TBD" statuses are not considered confirmed and do not indicate an animal is no longer urgent. All animals at ACCT Philly are from Philadelphia, as the only open-intake animal shelter in Philadelphia, we are not able to accept animals from outside of Philadelphia. ACCT Philly’s Pennsylvania kennel license number is 08313

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Khang Conquer, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
