Roy

My story

This cat appeared in our backyard about 2 years ago. We posted signs around the neighborhood. The owner came and took the cat back. She lived next door. She said the cat wasn't getting along with her new kitten. But she was living with our next-door neighbors, and they had several large dogs. The next morning the cat was back. She gave us their cat food and told us it was our cat now. She moved away from the neighbor's house shortly thereafter. We set up an automatic feeder and water unit for him. I think his name was Oscar, but we've been calling him Roy because he cries all the time. (Roy Orbison had a song about crying all the time over you.) He is very friendly. He wants to be petted all the time. He wants to come in the house, which we can't do. Roy really is a friendly large cat. I'm guessing he's 7 or 8 years old. If there was someone who was looking for a really friendly cat to have in their home, he would really fit in well. I don't think he would like large dogs, but he doesn't seem afraid of our 5 lb. dog.
