My story

Smokey is a handsome, soft-hearted boy who takes life at his own pace. A little shy at first, he prefers to quietly observe new people and places before fully engaging—but don’t mistake his caution for disinterest. With a calm environment and a gentle touch, Smokey slowly begins to open up, revealing a sweet, affectionate nature that's well worth the wait. Once he feels safe, you'll start to see his eyes light up and his purr motor come to life. As Smokey gains confidence, he enjoys quiet cuddle sessions, soft head pets, and lounging nearby as a peaceful companion. He would do best in a patient, low-key home where he can build trust at his own speed. If you’re someone who values the quiet joy of earning a cat’s affection, Smokey is ready to share his love in the most heartwarming way. I hope to meet you soon! All of our cats and kittens go home spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on their core vaccines, as well as flea and tick preventatives. Each adoption also includes a 3.5-pound bag of Iams cat food and a free vet exam at one of our participating veterinary partners.
