My story

**Meet Stella!** I’m excited to introduce you to the incredible Stella, a 13-week-old pit mix with a heart full of love! Stella has been at our partner shelter in South Carolina for about a week and a half after her previous owner chose not to pay her fees, but she’s ready to start her new journey! According to one of the shelter staff, “Stella is awesome!” She’s fully vaccinated and has successfully been treated for mange, and she's thriving! Stella is already puppy pad trained, has learned basic commands, and is a superstar when it comes to settling down quietly in her crate or room. She is not food aggressive at all and shares her space lovingly with all animals. In fact, Stella loves to cuddle with the resident cats and spends her days playing with her best friend, Jelly Bean! Stella has a cozy bed right by my desk, and when I say “lay down,” she happily grabs her bone or toy and does just that! She even knows to fetch her leash when she's ready to go outside for some fun! ‍  Stella truly is a delightful puppy and my favorite little companion.
