My story

Meet Miau â&#194&#128&#194&#147 Your Future Cuddle Companion! Miau is a sleek, silky-coated black domestic shorthair with the biggest golden-green eyes and an even bigger heart. At just around 2 years old and weighing in at a petite 8 pounds, Miau is equal parts elegance and goofball charm. Her cutest quirk? She loves sprawling out dramatically across the floor in the middle of the room like sheâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s the queen of her castle â&#194&#128&#194&#147 and honestly, she is. Miau is on the shy side and can be easily startled by new or strange noises, but once she feels safe and gets comfortable with you, her sweet and snuggly nature shines. She was rescued as a stray and has blossomed into a loyal companion, now spayed and fully up to date on all her vaccines â&#194&#128&#194&#147 including rabies. Sheâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s also been given a clean bill of health by the vet! Miauâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s energy level is comfortably moderate â&#194&#128&#194&#147 she enjoys playtime with wand toys and the occasional zoomie, but sheâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s just as content to snooze near your feet or curl up on a soft blanket. Her favorite thing? Treats! The moment she hears the rustle of a treat bag, she comes running with adorable enthusiasm. Miau prefers to be the only pet in the home, as she enjoys a quieter environment where she can be the center of attention. While she hasnâ&#194&#128&#194&#153t lived with young children, she would likely do well with respectful older kids who understand feline boundaries. Miau would thrive best in a calm household with a patient adopter who can give her time to build trust, and in return, sheâ&#194&#128&#194&#153ll reward you with gentle affection and devoted snuggles. This little queen is fully litterbox trained and very tidy. Sheâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s not crate-trained, but she travels well in a soft-sided carrier. While she doesnâ&#194&#128&#194&#153t know any fancy tricks (yet!), her intelligence shows in how quickly she learns routines and adapts to her environment. Sheâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s incredibly in tune with her humans and will often meow softly to say hello or remind you itâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s time for snacks. Her ideal home would be one where she can have a cozy window perch, minimal loud noises, and plenty of gentle companionship. Miau is being rehomed through no fault of her own â&#194&#128&#194&#147 due to a change in living circumstances, her human can no longer provide the stability she deserves.
