My story

Are you looking for a medium energy, loyal, affectionate, easy-going gal to add some joy and companionship to your life? Say hello to Gretta, your new best friend in a furry package!Gretta is a confident, friendly, gal with a gentle soul, the kindest eyes, and a happy wag that brings joy to everyone around her. Gretta is the definition of mellow—she’s got just the right amount of energy for a leisurely walk around the neighborhood or a cuddle on the couch. Gretta walks beautifully on her leash (no pulling here!), and she’s always ready to flash you a big doggy smile. During her walk outside, Gretta saw two dogs through the fence (one male and one female), and in both cases she was clearly drawn to the other dog, as her tail was wagging and she had a cute loose wiggle. She clearly enjoyed visiting with these other dogs. When toys were tossed for her to play with, Gretta leisurely trotted over to the toy, sniffed it, and turned back to spend more time with her human. When hanging with her person, Gretta enjoyed pets and scratches. Gretta also loves her treats! While Gretta did not seem to know how to “sit” when asked, she has certainly mastered the art of being the perfect companion. With her love of treats (and you!) teaching her tricks will certainly be a breeze. Gretta’s manners are already impeccable, and she took treats very gently.Gretta has a beautiful grey and brindle coat with some pretty white markings, bright eyes and an engaging smile. If you're looking for a loyal, affectionate, and easygoing best friend, Gretta might just be your perfect match. Come meet her and let her win you over with her charm—you’ll be glad you did. Adoption fee: $525, includes all shots, sterilized, heartworm negative, dewormed, flea preventative, microchip   If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application and a representative will get back to you shortly to answer any questions you may have. See our calendar of adoption events at https://fancycats.org/(scroll towards bottom) You can save animals like this one by becoming a foster! Fosters are like bridges between high kill shelters and forever homes. We need fosters so that we can save cats and dogs before they are euthanized at the shelters. If you have any questions or would like to adopt Gretta, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
