My story

Please note that inquiries on this site are not monitored. To apply for a specific dog with Bulldog Haven NW rescue or submit a general application, please visit https://bulldoghavennw.org/apply/ Meet Mr. Moose - Your Future Snuggle Buddy with a Side of Silliness! Breed: English Bulldog Age: 2 years old Weight: ~65 lbs Mr. Moose is a lovable, oversized teddy bear wrapped in a Bulldog body. This sweet boy lives for cuddles, lap time, and long naps on the couch or in a sunny spot by the window. He's your classic "velcro dog" - always underfoot and wanting to be wherever you are. But don't let all that snoozing fool you! Moose is also a playful, curious two-year-old who loves to stir up a little mischief and keep you on your toes. He's a goofy, bouncy boy who adores people (kids included!) and gets along well with other dogs. However, due to his size and enthusiasm, he might accidentally knock over small children in his excitement-so a home with older kids would be ideal. Moose enjoys car rides, walks, and sunbathing like a champ. He's also a fan of Benebones and stuffed toys (especially the ones he can carry around like trophies). And if he wants something? Don't worry-you'll know. He's quite the talker and has perfected his own version of the "Frenchie scream" when he's feeling extra passionate. Because he's a curious guy with a naughty streak, Moose needs to be crated when left home alone. He does fine in his crate for short periods but, due to a medical condition, he shouldn't be left crated too long. Moose has epilepsy and experiences about 1-2 seizures per month. He's on a consistent medication routine that keeps things under control, but it's important that his future family is comfortable managing a seizure dog. Mr. Moose is looking for a family who: · Has experience with caring for a dog with seizures · Is home often or can include him in their daily life (he loves being with his people!) · Lives in a home with minimal stairs (he sometimes experiences hind leg weakness) · Has a securely fenced yard-he's a door dasher and a bit of a fence inspector · Can commit to his ongoing medical care, medication schedule, and high-quality food Moose is more than just a handsome face-he's a loyal, silly, affectionate companion who will bring so much joy (and probably a few laughs) to the right family. If you're looking for a Bulldog with personality, heart, and a bit of spice, Mr. Moose just might be your guy.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Mr. Moose, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
