My story

Jasper is a 10-month-old male dog with a heart full of love and a playful, gentle spirit. Though deaf and recovering from an eye injury, he doesnâ&#194&#128&#194&#153t let his challenges slow him down. Initially a bit shy, Jasper quickly warms up and becomes a playful, curious companion. Heâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s fantastic with other dogs, enjoying gentle play and zooming around once heâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s comfortable. While heâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s respectful and cautiously curious with cats, he doesnâ&#194&#128&#194&#153t have a high prey drive. Though he hasnâ&#194&#128&#194&#153t met children yet, his sweet, friendly nature suggests heâ&#194&#128&#194&#153d do well with themâ&#194&#128&#194&#148though his occasional puppy mouthiness means kid-proofing for toys might be needed. Jasper is leash, crate, and potty trained, and he thrives on routine and enrichment to keep his puppy tendencies in check. Heâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s moderately active, loving tennis balls, chew toys, and enrichment games, but heâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s equally happy napping most of the day. This gift-giver pup will bring you toys, sticks, or even socks to show his affection. Jasper does wonderfully in his crate, sleeping soundly without any signs of anxiety. His ideal home is patient and understanding of his deafness, with or without another dog, and doesnâ&#194&#128&#194&#153t require someone to be home all day. With his goofy charm, gentle demeanor, and playful spirit, Jasper is ready to fill his forever home with love, laughter, and lots of tennis balls. All Dallas Pets Alive adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon adoption. The standard minimum donation for dogs over six months to seven years is $200, puppies under six months is $250, dogs eight years and over are $100 unless specified otherwise.
