My story

#A5660671 Meet Hazel , a 9-month-old Pitbull puppy with a silky dulce de leche coat, vanilla-dipped toes, and an adorable pink nose just begging for boops! She’s still growing into her big feet and has the bouncy, joyful energy of a pup discovering the world. Hazel loves people and greets everyone like a long-lost friend -  she’s all about connection and cuddles. Curious, clever, and eager to please, she’s already learning her basic commands, like sit and down, and is very quick to pick up new skills. With regular exercise and training, she’s on her way to becoming an amazing lifetime companion. If you're looking for an endlessly playful, loving pup to share in all of life’s adventures, Hazel’s ready to bounce her way into your heart!  9 month old brown and white Pitbull puppy 38 pound spayed female May need the standard round of shots and preventatives before she can go home with you, but the shelter can likely help with this! Came to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on 4/11/25 as an owner surrender - allegedly for growling, but Hazel has never done this at the shelter, and has shown zero signs of any aggression - she’s only ever been a big lovebug for us! As a puppy, this may well have been a play growl that was simply misunderstood beautiful, silky smooth dulce de leche coat, with vanilla dipped toesies and an adorable pink nose begging for boops - still growing into her big feet exuberant puppy energy, practically bounces around with enthusiasm loves to meet new people and will jump up to say “hi” - wants desperately to connect with her family incredibly curious about everything and everyone around her - always ready to explore super smart and very responsive to training and corrections - already learning sit and down, and will pick up things very quickly, including all the puppy basics like any puppy, needs regular exercise for both her body and her brain, so that she can get out all the wiggles and calmly pay attention   HAZEL’S VIDEO: https://youtube.com/shorts/wPIvJyRg6mc   For more information, contact volunteer Lor at  lor@unitedhopeforanimals.org ------- United Hope for Animals (UHA) is a volunteer group and does not have a facility for animals.  This pet is part of our Shelter Support Program at the Baldwin Park Shelter. For more information about the pet, the adoption process, or our program please contact the Volunteer Adoption Coordinator listed above. Because animals are adopted/rescued daily, please also check the United Hope for Animals Facebook page to see if an animal is still available OR call the Baldwin Park Shelter at 626-962-3577. When inquiring about an animal, please reference the animal’s ID number. This will enable the volunteer or Baldwin Park employee to locate the status of the pet. Thank you for supporting rescue.May 6, 2025, 2:33 pm
