My story

Hi, I’m Tucker – a gentle soul looking for my second chance. I started life as a stray, and although I was adopted once, I was returned because I struggle with being left alone — I have something called separation anxiety. It just means I really bond with my people and feel safest when they’re near. With time, patience, and maybe a canine companion by my side, I know I can keep growing more confident. I’m a sweet and gentle boy with a tender heart. I can be a little shy when meeting new people, but if you go slow and give me a chance, I’ll soon be leaning in for affection. I am great with other dogs and would love to have a furry friend in my new home — they really bring out my confidence! I’d also be happy living with respectful children who understand that I might need a little time to warm up. All I want is a calm, loving home where I can feel safe, be part of the family, and not have to face the world alone.
