My story

What my friends at ACC say about me:My history is a mystery and my friends here do not know much about me yet!I would appreciate slow introductions to new people and places to help me feel safe.I prefer to call the shots and enjoy coming to you when I'm ready for pets.A volunteer writes: Chippy's started to offer us more of his personality, which is especially sweet considering all the big changes he's been through recently. Brought to us with another cat when their person passed away, Chippy is taking some time to reflect on where he is and who he wants to be. The first time we met, I offered Chippy my hand and he shied away. Adjusting to a new chapter can take time, but another chance is coming and Chippy seems to understand this too. The second time we met, I did the same and Chippy leaned his cheeks into my hand in friendship. Coming forward to share some treats and love, Chippy leaned his head all the way down to rest in his quietly cheerful way.
