You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Buddy, known as Charlie – the ball-chasing, heart-melting Cocker Spaniel with charm to spare!   Charlie is 5 years young and ready to start his real life – you know, the one where he’s pampered, adored, and finally gets to be the dog he was always meant to be. As a breeder release, Charlie took his old "job" very seriously. But now that he’s been neutered (yep, those balls are gone), he’s learning there’s more to life than impressing the ladies – like belly rubs, naps, and chasing actual balls. Just to clarify: we’re talking the squishy kind. Tennis balls? Too basic. Charlie has standards.   Charlie is obsessed with fetch. Like, really obsessed. He could play all day if you let him, so you’ll need to monitor his playtime to make sure he doesn’t overdo it. He’s your classic velcro dog, happiest when he’s close to his person, soaking up all the love and companionship he missed out on in his former life.   Strangers? Meh. Charlie takes his sweet time warming up to new folks. He’s not aggressive, just cautious – so a patient home that will let him build trust at his own pace is a must. He gets along well with other dogs and hasn't met any cats yet, so jury’s still out on the feline front.  Charlie is not used to being on a leash so a fenced in yard will be needed.   Now for the real talk: house training is a work in progress. He’s rocking a doggie diaper for now, but with consistency and patience, we’re hopeful he’ll get the hang of things. At night, he’s a kennel champ.
