Hershey

My story

SAAP Nation, please welcome Hershey!   This sweet guy is an old man (13!!!), but don't let that fool you, because he's still got plenty of pep to his step. He was surrendered to the shelter by his former owners due to illness in February, but he's such a sweetheart.    He's a lab mix and currently at 40 lbs, but could stand to gain a few pounds. He is working on not marking (really, he just wants everything to he his), does great with all the other dogs here, loves to snuggle with you, and has liked every person he's met. He hasn't been nervous around men, kiddos, or strangers, and has adjusted so quickly and easily to our house.    He had some teeth extracted, but is not on any long-term meds at this point. He is miccrochipped and up-to-date on heartworm, flea/tick, and vaccines. He also has the funniest old man bark.   I am hoping that someone is willing to give this guy the best home for the rest of his life - he really deserves to be spoiled to the fullest.    Apply to #AdoptHershey or reply to your approval email to meet this sweet guy!May 12, 2025, 10:12 pm
