My story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Martin – A Gentle Giant with a Tender Heart   Martin is a stunning 9-month-old brindle Cane Corso pup with soulful eyes and a heart as big as his paws. Though he’s still growing into his XL frame, Martin’s personality is all sweetness and submission. He came into the shelter in California with his best friend, an extra-large Bully breed, but heartbreakingly, his companion attacked him. Martin was removed for his safety and has since been navigating the world all on his own.   This gentle boy is deeply dog-dependent—every time he’s taken out of his run, he immediately runs to the nearest dog kennels, longing for connection and companionship. He thrives in the presence of other dogs and truly needs a canine buddy in his forever home. Ideally, Martin would do best with another large dog who’s close in age or a bit older (up to 2–3 years), someone who can help build his confidence and be his playmate and emotional anchor.   Martin is a bit shy at first, but his sweet, trusting nature shines through quickly. He does beautifully in a crate, travels well in a car, and enjoys his toys. Because of his size and sensitive nature, a home without toddlers would be best—he’ll blossom in a calm, supportive environment with experienced large-dog owners.   Martin is one of the kindest, most lovable pups you’ll ever meet. All he needs is a little patience, a lot of love, and a best furry friend to show him the way. Are you ready to give Martin the second chance he so deserves?   Www.azmastiffrescue.com  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 6, 2025, 3:21 am
