My story

Meet Frankie! First things first — pictures don’t do this unique, fun, and silly little guy justice. Frankie is a micro bully, built like a tiny Hulk. At about 3 years old and 30 lbs, he barely reaches your knees, but his personality fills the room. Frankie’s stunning blue merle coat turns heads, and his stocky, low to the ground build is all bulldog with a dash of Frenchie charm because that’s exactly what he is: a mix of both. He’s full of energy, incredibly affectionate, and LOVES other dogs. Frankie has great social skills and is respectful when meeting new fur friends, often encouraging play with friendly bows and goofy enthusiasm. While he’s not a couch potato, he’s also not a marathon runner. A few short daily walks and some playtime are perfect for this compact character. Frankie would thrive in a home with another friendly, moderately playful dog, and while he adores people, a calmer environment with older, respectful kids would suit him best. We’ll be honest, Frankie is a bit high maintenance when it comes to care. He’s likely to have some ongoing allergy issues, which means regular baths, clean toes and ears, and a high quality diet will be important. Someone also sadly butchered his ears before he came to us, but despite that, he carries himself with confidence and charm. Frankie’s past hasn’t been easy. It’s clear he hasn’t always been treated kindly, and he’ll need someone patient, compassionate, and firm in their boundaries — someone who will earn his trust with kindness, not force. If you’re not ready to commit to that, he’s not the dog for you. He deserves someone who sees beyond the trendy breed mix and values him for who he is, a sweet, loving, funny, and resilient dog who just wants to be someone’s everything. Frankie is house trained, working on crate training, and walks beautifully on a leash. He tags along to the office a few days a week and rides like a pro in the car. He’s quiet overall but will chirp and snort when he wants attention, and trust us, it’s adorable. If you’re a fan of the little bully breeds and have room in your heart for a dog who needs just a little extra TLC, Frankie might be the one. His perfect person is out there. Could it be you?
