My story

  Feeling hungry? Look no further, Big Mac is here! Big Mac is a big beautiful boy searching for his furever home. He is very sweet and loves curling up next to his human companions. He is an easy-going 4-year-old cat who does not mind, and in fact likes, being held like a baby. He loves to pretend he is a dog by giving his humans all the kisses and in return expects ear and chin scratchies. He is friendly and outgoing and loves to meet new people. Big Mac’s favorite pastimes include sunbathing in the window, playing with ribbon toys, and snoozing the day away. If you’re looking for a new companion to sit by your side all day long, you may have just found your best bud! Ba-da-ba-ba-ba, you’ll love him! It is spread from cat to cat via mating or deep puncture bite wounds. Thankfully, all our cats are spayed or neutered so mating is no longer an option! Adoption fees are as follows, plus tax: $150 for large adult dogs (older than 1 year); $250 for small dogs (under 25 lbs) and all puppies (under 1 year); $60 for adult cats (over 6 months of age), $100 for kittens (under 6 months of age), and $25 for small animals. When you adopt a pair of kittens together, the total adoption fee is $150.  PAWS, the Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society is a 501(c)3 non-profit animal rescue organization dedicated to saving Philadelphia's homeless and at-risk animals.
