My story

Meet Jellybean! Also affectionately known as Jelly, or Jelly-Belly to his foster family, he is a 3-4 month old lab and hound mix. Jellybean is a gentle boy, who just wants the love and security of his forever home. Jelly starts off a little shy, but he's soon giving out sweet kisses and snuggles- he loves to be near his humans! He can’t wait to see his people, and loves to be snuggled and scratched behind the ears. One of Jellybean's most endearing qualities is his white coloration on his legs making it look like he's got stockings on his feet. Jelly is very smart and has quickly learned to sit down and not jump up on his human for pets. He is working on new commands now, like sit, and he's a fast learner! Jelly sleeps at night in a pen with his foster brother and sister, and he does well at night, sleeping quietly with night-time accidents few and far between. He spends as much as 4-6 hours a day in the yard with his foster brother and sister, and keeps himself entertained when he has to be alone for long periods of time. He is not yet fully house trained, but is a quick learner. Jellybean has loved all the other humans and dogs he has met - including children! His friendly disposition and easygoing nature have endeared him to his foster brothers and sister. He loves to play with balls and ropes, and likes playing fetch with his foster dad. But mostly he is a gentle soul, satisfied to sit in your lap and be loved on. Jelly is more than ready to embark on the next chapter of his journey—a journey that he hopes will lead him straight into the loving arms of his forever family!
