My story

Ready to meet your dream dog?? We’re looking for an adopter for this handsome, 2 year old staffy who was found abandoned two months ago. What makes him the dream situation? He is crate trained, loves car rides, knows basic commands, is leash trained and so affectionate/loyal, AND on June 29th he will be exiting a four week training program that is aimed at making him the best he can be! He’s already a great dog, and with the guidance of a top-tier trainer, he’ll learn to respond to advanced cues and manage his anxiety around other dogs. He’ll leave training with a strong foundation in obedience and a toolkit to help him stay successful long-term. (Training value $5,600, paid for by our rescue) While he may still need to be the only dog in the home, he has so much love to give and will thrive in a calm, structured environment with someone committed to keeping up with his training. Why are we looking for his new person now? We’re hoping to line up his forever home before he graduates, so he can transition directly from training into his new life—seamlessly, with all his progress intact. This gives both Bud and his adopter the best chance at long-term success.
