My story

Hi, I’m Harvey—a handsome heartthrob with a soft spot for tug toys and long, lazy strolls. At 8 years young, I’ve mastered the art of being chill. I’m the kind of guy who enjoys leisurely walks, meandering through the yard to sniff out all the best smells, and soaking up gentle pets from my favorite people. My previous foster says I’m housebroken, sweet, and relaxed. I also do great on car rides if you’re looking for a calm co-pilot. I may look like a big guy, but I’m really just a softie ready to share my heart. If you’re searching for an easygoing companion with a touch of charm, I think we’d be perfect together. Come meet me today!~~~~~The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter is open every day from noon to 6pm (excluding limited holidays/events). You can meet our adoptable animals at any time during open hours.In addition to our main shelter at 1855 SE Inner Loop, Georgetown, TX 78626, you can also meet adoptable dogs at our satellite location, the Red Poppy Adoptique, located at 110 W L Walden Dr, Georgetown, TX 78626.Interested in fostering a dog in need? Take one of our pups on an adventure for a few hours—giving them a much-needed break from the shelter while you enjoy some quality time. The program runs at both locations daily starting at noon.We always welcome your dogs to come and meet our dogs, too! We’ll see you soon at either location!
