My story

Bobbie Jo is a sweet girl with affinity for the tastiest treats like freeze dried chicken and liver. She`s on the shy side, so she`d love an adopter with a little patience and a whole lot of love to offer so they can unlock her cuddly side; once you`ve unlocked that side, you`ll have a couch companion for life. Loud and busy environments can be too much for her, so she`d appreciate a space that`s quiet and peaceful. Did you know?!  I am a ‘Have a Heart` fund recipient.  I have heartworms that will need to be treated in the home, but through this fund, the Humane Society of Charlotte has a voucher to assist with fees for the treatment. The treatment at their partnering vet clinics is done at a reduced rate for our adopters.  Our partner clinics will provide me with top notch care and support during the treatment.  I am in need of an adopter that will maintain a great relationship with my vet to help get me heartworm free! All adoptions are handled on a first-come, first-served basis at our Adoption Center, located at 1348 Parker Drive. No appointment is needed to meet your future furry friend! Hours: Sunday-Thursday 11 a.m.-5 p.m., Friday 11 a.m.-7 p.m., and Saturday 11 a.m.-6 p.m.
