Looking for a fun, playful pup to brighten your days? Reggie might just be the perfect match! Take a look into his eyes and find his loving nature in just one gaze. He is a German Shepherd mix pup at around 2 years of age and is a large boy weighing around 65 pounds. He also has a large heart to go with his large frame so if you are looking for a sweetheart of a boy, do not let Reggie be the one that got away. If you are a large dog person and have room in your heart and home for this big guy, you will not be disappointed. He is a medium energy level dog with a beautiful tan and white coat. Reggie is also a well-mannered young man. This sweet soul loves to romp around with other dogs and would thrive in a home with a canine companion who can show him the ropes. His playful energy and love for four-legged canine friends make him a joy to be around. Reggie also enjoys the company of children for companionship and/or playmates. Reggie has not had the opportunity to meet cats, so his acceptance of a feline companion is unknown at this time.If you like to go places and take your canine companion with you, Reggie is first to head to the car and jump inside. He makes a great travel companion as he enjoys car rides and demonstrates his best behavior while traveling in a vehicle. Open the door to new adventures and take Reggie along for the ride! You will be glad you did. While Reggie can be a bit shy when meeting new people, he warms up with a little patience and kindness. He is looking for a quieter home where he can build confidence at his own pace and truly shine. Once he feels comfortable, his affectionate and goofy personality comes through—and it is absolutely worth the wait. Watching him show off his exaggerated play bows and spins is a must see and is very entertaining as well. Reggie is crate trained, house trained, and leash trained! That makes him ready to pack up his things and move right on into his forever home. Although he is house trained, it is important to remember that accidents can occur while adjusting to a new home environment. If you have a calm environment, a friendly resident dog, and a heart ready to welcome a gentle companion, Reggie is ready to meet you! *When considering adoption, keep in mind that dogs thrive on structure and routine. They adjust much better when their owners are committed to providing consistency and stability. The adoption fee for Reggie is $500. That includes the cost of spaying/neutering, up to date vaccinations, foster care, rescue and transportation fees.
