Dog Name: Kadee Breed: Chihuahua Sex: female Age: 2-4 yrs Weight: 9 lbs Medical Needs: Kadee will be scheduled for her spay before adoption at Brandywine Valley SPCA in Georgetown. Keeping the appointment is a condition of adoption. Adopters must either live in DE or within 1 hour of where the appointment is, and must agree to keeping the appointment. Housebroken: Yes Crate trained: Yes Good in the car: Yes Good on a leash: Yes Energy level: medium Need a fenced in yard: No, but leash walks are a must if you don’t have a fence. She’s small and fast. Dog Friendly: She does not like other dogs, at first. She eventually warmed up to my small dog. Because of her small size, she is kept separate from the big dogs in the house after she gave the resident pittie a couple of alligator snaps to the face. Said Pittie just looked at her in confusion…silly little dog, she thought. If yes, does your foster need another dog in its adoptive homes? No Cat Friendly? Unknown, but she will sleep on the back of the sofa like she is a cat. Kid Friendly: Yes If yes, what's the youngest child you'd recommend they be placed with? 8 or older. She is very small and should be handled with care. Special traits that make your foster special or that we need to know about them? Kadee is a lover! She is super friendly with all the people that she has met. In typically chihuahua fashion, she tends to tremble and shake in new situations but relaxes rather quickly. She is very playful and affectionate. She loves to burrow under her blankets anytime she’s napping…it’s so adorable. Kadee also thinks you should want to carry her around like the princess she is. She would love all the belly rubs you are willing to give her. You should also be prepared for her to attempt to French kiss your face.
