My story

Meet Taz, a lovable 10+ year-old male dog looking for his forever home. Taz was surrendered to us after his family could no longer take care of him due to their personal circumstances. Taz is now hoping to find a family who will appreciate his laid-back yet eager nature. Taz is friendly and outgoing, especially with children. He has lived with six kids, ranging from ages 4 to 13, and has always been playful, friendly, and outgoing with them. He’s equally affectionate with adults, making him a wonderful family companion. While he enjoys lounging around the house as a relaxed "couch potato," Taz also loves playing fetch with a ball and will happily engage in play when the mood strikes. Taz is friendly with other dogs and would adapt well to a home with other pets after proper introductions. Taz is housetrained and reliable with very few accidents. He is calm and unbothered by being touched or handled in most situations, whether it's his paws, collar, or being disturbed while resting. Taz has no known health issues and enjoys bath time. He walks nicely on a leash without pulling and is content with a 30-minute walk. Though he hasn’t been in a car before, with a little patience, he may adjust well to car rides. Taz is a quick learner and knows basic commands such as “sit,” “stop,” “no,” and “give me paw.” Taz is looking for a relaxed, loving home where he can enjoy his golden years surrounded by care and attention. He’s a perfect companion for families or individuals who are ready to provide him with the love he deserves.
