My story

Romulus is a gentle, playful young cat who’s learning that the world isn’t such a scary place after all. Romulus grew up in a quiet home and takes comfort in familiar surroundings. He’s not the kind of cat who seeks out laps or cuddles right away, but once he feels safe, his affectionate side starts to shine.In his foster home, Romulus has made great progress. He’s very loving with his foster family and recently even greeted new visitors without hiding – a big step for a cat who used to keep his distance. He’s not quite a social butterfly yet, but he’s showing he has the potential to keep blooming in the right home.Romulus is an excellent litterbox user, a great eater, and a big fan of playtime. He prefers to keep all four paws on the ground (being picked up isn’t his favorite), and while he may take time to adjust, he rewards patience with quiet companionship and the occasional head bump.Romulus would do best in a calm home with understanding adopters who will let him settle at his own pace. He may enjoy the company of another cat and would truly thrive in a space where he feels secure. If you’re the kind of person who appreciates the slow, rewarding journey of earning a shy cat’s trust, Romulus might just be your perfect match.
