My story

Meet Winthrop, a sensitive and loving young cat who's looking for a calm, understanding home to call his own. At a year and a half old, he was recently surrendered with his siblings, Boston and Bridgewater, when their owner could no longer care for them. The shelter environment has been overwhelming for Winthrop, and he’s feeling a bit unsure in this new, noisy place. But even through his nerves, we’re beginning to see glimpses of the sweet, cuddly boy he truly is. With gentle care and a peaceful home, Winthrop is sure to blossom much more quickly and show just how affectionate he can be. He’s not comfortable around dogs, but he has lived with children before and may do well in a quiet home with respectful kids who understand the needs of a shy kitty. Winthrop needs someone patient—someone who will give him the space and time he needs to feel secure. In return, he’ll give you soft purrs, loving nuzzles, and the joy of watching a tender spirit come into his own.
