Meet Timmy – A Gentle Soul Ready for His Second Chance ?? Timmy is a 3-year-old Domestic Shorthair with a tender heart and a story that deserves a happy ending. He was originally found outside, neutered, and brought into a home where his person tried to help him adjust to indoor life. Sadly, he was declawed—a painful and traumatic experience for many cats.On 5/1/25, Timmy was surrendered for urinating outside the litter box. His previous vet recommended a home without other animals. But here’s what we’ve learned: Timmy had an untreated UTI at the time, and the litter box issues may have also stemmed from the discomfort and stress of being declawed.At the shelter, Timmy was shut down and overwhelmed, so he was sent to a foster home—and that’s where he truly started to blossom.His foster says:> `Timmy is a gentle soul. This calm kitty melts when you pet him. He enjoys lap time and gives gentle kisses on your fingers.`Timmy is shy at first, but once he feels safe, he’s affectionate and incredibly sweet. He enjoys the company of other friendly, respectful cats and would thrive in a calm, loving home where he can feel secure and appreciated.
