My story

Ready for her flight to Toronto upon adoption—currently in Korea. 🐾 Background: Tuba was rescued from a city pound in Milyang, Korea, along with her puppies this spring. Since their rescue, Tuba has been living at our boarding house, where she’s been safe and well cared for alongside other dogs. 🐾 Personality and Socialization: Tuba is a friendly and affectionate girl who enjoys human company. With a moderate energy level, she’s quietly independent and doesn’t demand constant attention, but she does love gentle moments with people she trusts—leaning in for pets and cuddles. She gets along well with other friendly, well-mannered dogs, though she can occasionally get a bit jealous. Tuba hasn’t had experience with cats or young children. 🐾 Behaviours: Tuba travels well in the car and is easy to bathe. Indoors, she’s calm, quiet, and non-destructive. While she prefers doing her potty business outside, she will use indoor pee pads if needed. Tuba is adaptable and adjusts well to her surroundings. Her leash experience is limited, but she naturally follows her people. In unfamiliar environments, she may feel a bit shy at first but stays close and looks to her humans for reassurance. 🐾 Health and Diet: When Tuba was first rescued, she tested positive for anaplasmosis due to tick bites. She has since completed her treatment and made a full recovery. Tuba is now healthy, spayed, microchipped, fully vaccinated, and on monthly preventatives for fleas, ticks, and mosquitoes—ready for her forever home. She has shown no signs of allergies and eats dry kibble twice a day and maintains a healthy appetite. 🐾 Ideal Home: Tuba would thrive in a calm, quiet home with someone who’s around most of the time—whether retired, working from home, or simply home often. She would do best as the only dog in the household, where she can enjoy all the love and attention she deserves. If you’re looking for a gentle, easygoing companion to share your days with, Tuba might be the perfect match.
