Meet Yam!This handsome little guy is an 8-year-old, 20-pound Pekingese/spaniel mix with the most endearing face you’ve ever seen! Yam’s soulful eyes and sweet expression are sure to melt your heart the moment you meet him.Yam is friendly with everyone — he loves people and gets along wonderfully with other dogs. Around the rescue, he’s a curious explorer, happily wandering with the small dogs during playtime and checking out every nook and cranny.Yam was found as a stray, and now he’s ready to find a forever home where he’ll be cherished and loved like he deserves. If you’re looking for a gentle, lovable companion with a heart of gold, Yam is your perfect match!IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. If you are seeing our pets posted in your state, that's because you live near a transport stop, they are not currently at that location. Petfinder lists our pets as 'Out of Town' pets at other locations, and Adopt-a-Pet lists our location as a Transport stop. Those are currently the only options they offer to make this clear, so we put this description we've put at the bottom to explain it.
