Meow

My story

Meow is that guy in high school that all the girls had a crush on and all the boys wanted to be. He has a confident swag and can get along with anybody anywhere anytime, even at the vet’s office. But don’t be fooled by his charm, this kid has sass. He will tell you what he wants when he wants, hence his name, and isn’t afraid to shake his little nub to get it.  Meow was brought to the shelter as a stray with a wounded tail. Unfortunately the wound became infected and his entire tail had to be amputated. But this hasn’t stopped him. Meow walks into a room like he owns it, unphased by new people, new animals and new situations.  He has lived in harmony with the foster’s resident chihuahua mix and has recently had a good time playing with a foster kitten who is temporarily hanging with him at his foster home.  Meow would thrive in a multi-pet household, whether it’s with cats or dogs. Meow is very food motivated (so lock up your snacks lol) and he will do whatever you please if you just feed him the treatos. He is currently still healing from his tail amputation but should be off all antibiotics and be healed up very soon!  Meow is 2yo, 8lbs, vaccinated for FVRCP and rabies. Microchipped, neutered, and FeLV / FIV negative. To apply for Meow, visit our website (www.waggytailrescue.org) for an adoption application. We are currently unable to respond to general email inquiries as an all-volunteer run rescue. If the animal is on our website, they are still available.
