My story

Peggy Sue’s rescue story is one of quiet resilience. She was found abandoned and terrified on a rural road alongside another dog, possibly her sibling. Peggy Sue was too scared to come near anyone. It took two days, endless patience, and the help of her sibling to finally earn her trust and bring her to safety. Today, Peggy Sue is thriving. She’s people friendly, crate trained, and has a sweet, affectionate nature. She is dog selective - most comfortable around confident, dominant dogs, especially males. She enjoys the company of her doggy friends but truly shines when she’s getting one-on-one attention from her humans. Peggy Sue is the perfect mix of play and chill. She enjoys walks, loves soaking up the sun, and is always up for a cuddle session on the couch. If you’re looking for a loyal companion with a heart full of love and a story of survival, Peggy Sue is ready to meet you.   All dogs will be altered, microchipped, and receive age-appropriate vaccines prior to adoption.
