My story

Meet Beethoven This precious boy, a gentle giant, joined BAARK from Texas. He was living on a dog ranch and, with so many dogs being dumped throughout Texas, the ranch became overly crowded with homeless dogs; the caretakers needed help with transferring some of them to other groups so we stepped up for a few of them. Beethoven is a Golden Retriever (possibly Mix) estimated to be 2 years old, weighing 75 lbs. He is very affectionate and loving, and thrives on attention! He’s overall fairly calm for his young age, but does enjoy running and playing in the secure (above ground) fenced yard of his foster home. Beethoven is quick to learn and eager to please. His favorite activities are playing with his toys, being petted, watching TV, and relaxing with his human friends. An ideal forever family is one with Retriever experience, a secure (above ground) fenced yard, and another playful pup! Beethoven is good with dogs of his own size, but also gentle with smaller dogs and senior dogs too! Beethoven is fully vetted, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm tested and on heartworm prevention, neutered and microchipped.
