Rosalina

My story

Rosalina is a 15-month-old female Siberian Husky mix with blue eyes. She was rescued as a stray in Puerto Rico. Rosalina was only 8 or 9 months old when she gave birth to a litter of 7 puppies of which only 3 survived and all were later adopted. Now it is Rosalina’s time to find her forever home. We have had Rosalina for only a short time but know that besides being a beautiful dog she has an outgoing energetic and loving personality. She gives us plenty of licks, loves to be petted and get belly rubs. She gets along with other dogs, children, and our elderly cat. We do recommend a slow introduction to cats. We have an elderly cat who has corrected her a couple times. Besides stuffies she loves to chew on bully sticks or other hard toys. Rosalina rests on the couch and dog bed and sleeps in our bed. She gets along well with our timid dog. We have not dared to let her off leash in our back yard which has a 4’ chain link fence. She is obsessed with squirrels in our yard thus to keep her on a leash or long lead for now. She rides well in the car and walks fine on a leash. The only thing she needs more help in currently is potty training. Rosalina appears to be a very special loving dog considering her background and will be a welcome addition to any family.
