My story

ROCKY is the absolutely cutest little gray-striped, short-haired male tabby teenager kitten with white fur in a tuxedo pattern and a freckle on his nose. This young boy is very playful and energetic, and he LOVES people—his favorite thing to do is to cuddle and snuggle, although like most youngsters, he’s not a fan of being held or restrained.  He will play catch and bring you back the ball in his mouth!  He loves waffle balls, ping pong balls, and wands with dangling tails. He also loves to sit and watch birds from a safe indoor perch. This crazy little guy enjoys racing in circles inside his litterbox, so he should have a covered box.  He would do best in a home with another active and playful young kitty to help channel his energy -- but it needs to be a kitty that can stand up to Rocky's strong personality! ROCKY was injured in a fall as a baby (he was then surrendered to a vet and subsequently came to CRAN), where he suffered trauma to his nose and teeth.  He has completely healed up and this experience has not affected his happy, friendly personality--but as a result he does sneeze a lot and has a bit of trouble smelling his food.  He is fine once the food is placed next to his nose (he really likes the “gravy lovers” varieties).  Rocky is a sweet young man who will thrive in an active home with a family who is patient with his eating issues and will keep him safe. If you are looking for a snuggly little lover, Rocky is your guy! ROCKY has been neutered, microchipped, is negative for FeLV and FIV, and includes a free wellness visit with our vet partners. To meet ROCKY in foster care, please submit an adoption application for consideration at CatRescues.org/Adopt or a paper copy available at Petsmart. A volunteer will contact you within 3-5 business days for a possible meet and greet. The $155 adoption fee (there's a $30 discount if adopted with a 2nd cat) allows us to continue to provide care and find loving homes for abandoned and neglected cats in our Eugene/Springfield community. For more information, send an email to AdoptInfo@CatRescues.org or call 541-225-4955 option 1. ID # 2503-C0043 DOB 11/1/24 WOULD DO BEST IN A HOME WITH ANOTHER FRIENDLY, PLAYFUL YOUNG CAT OR KITTEN GOOD WITH MELLOW, CAT-SAVVY DOGS (NEEDS SLOW INTRO) GOOD WITH CHILDREN (HE HAS NOT YET BEEN INTRODUCED TO TODDLERS)May 10, 2025, 3:21 pm

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Rocky, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
