Clover

My story

Clover is very sweet, but nervous in new situations. I call her a social butterfly because she loves to meet new people. She is approximately two years old and 9.6 pounds. She is currently being fostered in Maple, Ontario. Clover was confiscated by Animal Control from a bad hoarding situation and then she went to the shelter where we rescued her. is very friendly, well mannered and happy. She is a beautiful girl with a unique coloring in her eyes and coat. Clover has a fantastic demeanor and is the perfect combination of playful and cuddly. She needs a family that will encourage her to experience new things and gain confidence. Loud noises and new situations are a little frightening for her, but with encouragement she moves forward to explore. Going down stairs has been new for her, but in a week she has progressed to a point where she will go down them without needing to be coaxed. In time she will be a pro with them. Clover does not like to be left alone and will howl (quietly) and cry. She has been coming to work with her foster every day, and will mostly sleep in her bed, but I can’t leave the office without her following behind. She is good in a car when in her crate. Clover will need some basic training as she is not completely pee pad trained, or consistently going outside to do her business. She likes to play with the foster’s hands, so we are redirecting her to play with toys. She loves to chase toys and make them squeak. Clover is a really sweet girl. She’s going to make a fantastic addition to your family. She gets along with cats, kids and dogs. If you have a larger dog, she will need a slow introduction to them. Clover is a good mix of all the adorable things you would love in a furfriend. DISCLAIMER; I understand that the breed,health, age, nature, or temperament of the TXCR adopted dog is not guaranteed. I understand that said dog is a rescue that has come from the streets or shelters and often there is no history on this animal.
