My story

His personality is starting to come out. He LOVES toys and is an expert at de-stuffing them. He loves to play fetch. I take him for walks around the block. My dogs are more like sled dogs and always pulling. With Storm, I am doing the pulling. BREAK THE CHAIN. Meet Storm. He came in with the floods— no leash, no name, no one looking back. Just a chain. A sun-bleached harness. And a history of being treated like property. South Texas heat. Tied up outside. No real life—just survival. Why get a dog if you’re going to leave them on a chain? Why bring life into the world just to leave it behind? We don’t know everything about Storm’s past. We just know it was heavy. What we do know? • He’s sweet. • He’s stocky and soulful. • He’s about 2 years old and 33 pounds of wiggly bulldog-Frenchie mix. • He’s non-reactive to dogs and friendly with everyone he meets. Storm deserves a life unchained. A couch. A walk. A name said with love. All Dallas Dog adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon finalizing adoption. Puppies adopted under the age of five months require a spay/neuter contract, and all dogs are required to be spayed by six months unless otherwise medically noted. Our dogs are currently on heartworm preventative. Puppies receive 3 to 4 rounds of vaccinations depending on their age, and adults receive two rounds unless they've been with us longer than a year, in which case they receive the booster update.
