My story

This beautiful lady is Mia! She ended up at the shelter on 4/23 because her owner was arrested. The volunteers describe her as a gentle giant; she couldn't be any sweeter! Mia walks nicely on leash and she's attentive to people. Mia does have a cherry eye that will need to be assessed by a veterinarian, but they are typically an easy surgical fix. If you have experience with XL breeds and have room in your heart and home for Mia, please come meet her today! Mia is 4 years old and weighs 136 lbs. She is UTD on vaccines and did test negative for heartworms. She will be spayed and microchipped upon adoption. Mia is waiting patiently in run 802; her ID # is 9530. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.
