My story

URGENT: A739939 `Chive` impounded 4/26/25 with reported fear aggresive behavior from finder, finder did disclose they cared for dog approximately 2 weeks before brining to facility in hopes of finding owner or resolving her behavior to assist with possible placement. Chive was fractious on intake and had to be placed directly into kennel via medical rolling kennel; however, dog did allow light handling several hours later and was able to be examined by our medical team. A739939 `Chive` continues to show unpredictable fear aggresive behavior with multiple bite attempts towards staff and approved rescue partner volunteers. Dog will often display relaxed/comfortable body language towards handlers that have experience with her, but multiple times during interactions involving light touching or spatial pressure dog will become stiff & agitated following with lunging and air snaps/bite attempts towards handler. Due to lack of behavior improvement and continued safety risk towards staff/volunteers A739939 `Chive` needs rescue by Wednesday 6/18/25
