My story

Meet Poppy. Poppy is a very special girl. She came into the rescue at 7-8 months old with a litter of very sick, newborn kittens. Unfortunately, they were too sick to survive, but Poppy stepped up to nurse and care for another litter of motherless kittens. Even though she is just a kitten herself, she has done an outstanding job raising three orphans. Now, it is her turn to be pampered and loved. She is extremely affectionate and has a very loud purr and sleek tabby coat. She has been a very velcro kitty to her foster mom, always seeking lots of love and snuggles. She does have a playful side though and likes to join her kittens for games of chase and batting around toys. She LOVES chasing a laser pointer. She is still quite petit but loves her food and has excellent litter box manners. If you are looking for a sweet kitty to pamper and play with, Poppy would love to settle down with you! She is currently available for pre-adoption and can go to her new home after June 4.May 2, 2025, 2:10 pm
