My story

Maeve is an all-around dog! She is a perfect 50/50 mix of active and couch potato! She is happy to join you on a walk or hike, and then binge-watch your favorite show. She enjoys other dogs and kids, and LOVES to cuddle and give kisses. Maeve is a pro at doggie puzzles, and is super smart! She is treat-motivated, and is working on polishing up her basic commands. She has even learned a few 2- and 3-step instructions! Maeve is improving her leash skills daily with the help of a head harness, and will be a walking pro in no time. She has already learned to walk in tandem with her foster dog brother Rukus! Maeve loves to play, and can match a dog`s or human`s energy level. She ADORES snuggles and kisses; and is the BEST at giving both! Maeve is 6 years old, crate and potty trained - the perfect age to be active, but also not have `puppy energy`. She has had no issues when foster mom has to leave her alone at home for a little while. Maeve prefers the company of another dog, but would also be just fine as a solo dog with occasional doggie interaction. She would do well in a variety of home types. Maeve has shown no resource guarding, and is happy to share toys, food, etc. with her foster brother. If you want to see additional pictures or posts of Maeve, you can go to her foster brother Rukus`s Instagram page @rukie.the.pretty.pittie to learn more! Apply to adopt Maeve today - she`s excited to meet you and shower you with love!

If you have any questions or would like to adopt MAEVE, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
